After a 24-year career in adolescent residential treatment across the nation, Ryan joined the Club in December 2020 as the Operations Director and was promoted to Chief Executive Officer in March 2022. During his first four years, the Club saw a 600% increase in members attending at least 105 days a year, a milestone that significantly enhances club outcomes. Ryan thrives on the daily challenges of delivering exceptional services to more children and families in Story County.
Ryan graduated from Madrid High School and the University of Northern Iowa, where he was a track athlete. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, coaching track in Madrid, cheering for the Cyclones and Seahawks, and spending time with his wife of 27 years, Tami, and their children Michael (and his wife Molly), Rylan (and her husband Sam), and Ella.

Judge started his career with the Club in 2021 as our lead fundraiser. He loves supporting our kids to reach their full potential and continually finding ways to make it happen financially. This comes after a 29-year career in public education working locally in the Ames Community School District. Judge earned his bachelor’s degree in education at Iowa State University where he also was a student-athlete lettering three years in football under head coach Jim Walden. During his free time, Judge enjoys helping others with outdoor projects and building things. Judge is the proud father of Tyler, Kayla and Taryn and is married to his wonderful and supportive wife Patty while residing in Ankeny.

Sarina is passionate about connecting people with purpose and believes everyone deserves to be led well. With a decade of leadership experience in the non-profit sector, her passion to add value to leaders in the community grew through developing programming for youth, training, developing staff and volunteers, coordinating events, leading community engagement and fundraising teams. Currently, she is the Associate Development Director at the Boys & Girls Club or Story County in Ames.
Sarina has a bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Iowa State University and is deeply rooted in the Ames Metro Area. She volunteers at the Ames Alliance as an Ambassador, is a council member of AREA YP, a Co-Chair for Leadership Ames, and serves as a youth group leader at Grace E-Free Church in Huxley.
In the unseen hours of the day, Sarina’s desire for learning and developing herself and others through reading and listening to podcasts focused on business development, leadership, and interpersonal skills. She spends free time with family and friends, often traveling to racetracks across the Midwest supporting her husband’s drag racing hobby. She and her husband Lance live in Huxley with their daughter Taylor and mini-Ausie Callie.

Crystal Harrison is our Director of Administrative Services at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Story County. With over 10 years of experience in administrative management, childcare and a passion for youth development, Crystal plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation behind the scenes of the organization. In this role, Crystal oversees administrative functions, which includes human resources, finance, marketing, and even event planning. Her expertise in streamlining processes and implementing efficient systems has significantly enhanced the Club’s operational effectiveness.
Crystal is dedicated to creating a supportive and productive environment for both staff and the children the Clubs serve. Her dedication to the mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs is evident in her daily work, as she strives to make a positive impact on the lives of young people in the area. Her ability to connect with people of all ages and understand their unique needs has made her a trusted and beloved figure among her peers. Outside of her professional life, Crystal is a dedicated mother of three, she enjoys her two dogs, cooking, and working part time as a fitness instructor.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Iowa State University, Kate is dedicated to enriching the lives of children and families in her community as the Development Coordinator at the Boys and Girls Club of Story County. Her passion for volunteering and giving back drives her to assist in the development of programs that foster growth, learning, and meaningful connections for the youth.
When she’s not at work, Kate loves to spend quality time with her husband, Juan, and their playful goldendoodle, Bentley. She enjoys exploring new places, whether it’s a hiking trail or an ice cream shop, and has a knack for testing out new recipes in the kitchen. Family and friends are incredibly important to her, and she cherishes every moment spent with loved ones. Kate is committed to making a positive impact in her community while inspiring others to do the same.

Kaitlin Binnebose serves as the Ames Site Director at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Story County, where she is responsible for the overall management and supervision of Club activities. With a strong background in youth development and program management, Kaitlin ensures that all programs are delivered effectively and meet the needs of the community.
In her role, Kaitlin oversees daily operations of the Club, coordinates with staff and volunteers, and maintains a safe and welcoming environment for all Club members to foster a positive and enriching atmosphere where young people can thrive.
Kaitlin holds a degree in Child, Adult, & Family Services from Iowa State University, and is passionate about empowering youth through education and mentorship.
Outside of work, Kaitlin enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and cheering on the Chiefs. Her commitment to the mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs is reflected in her daily efforts to support and inspire the next generation.
Nevada Site Director

Krystil is the Nevada Site Director at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Story County, where she is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of Club activities. With a strong background in youth development and program management, Krystil ensures that all programs are effectively delivered and tailored to meet the unique needs of the community.
In her role, Krystil leads a team of staff and volunteers, fostering a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for all club members. Her dedication and leadership have been key in creating a positive atmosphere where young people are empowered to grow, learn, and succeed.
Outside of her professional work, Krystil enjoys spending time with her family, unwinding with a good movie, and indulging in her creative side through diamond painting. These hobbies provide her with balance and allow her to recharge, bringing even more energy and passion to her role at the Boys & Girls Clubs.
To inspire & enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
