Ames Club

The Ames Club has been a cornerstone for youth in Story County since 1998—offering a safe, enriching space where kids can learn, grow, and thrive. With a full-size gymnasium, vibrant games room, and three tech-equipped classrooms, gaming systems, and hands-on STEM and arts supplies, our Club fosters academic success and sparks a love of learning.

We promote health and well-being through daily nutritious meals and snacks prepared in our licensed kitchen, while also teaching kids to cook and explore new recipes. Outdoors, two playgrounds, an open field, and a basketball court encourage active play and social connection.

Thanks to generous community support, we’ve expanded our impact with exciting new spaces:

  • A cutting-edge E-Sports Room
  • A dynamic Arts & STEM Room
  • Two additional Classrooms
  • A calming Zen Den
  • A reimagined Games Room
  • A flexible Multipurpose Room
  • A hands-on Teaching Kitchen
  • A convenient Grab n Go Hub

These additions allow us to serve more youth with deeper impact—nurturing character and leadership, building life and workforce readiness, and empowering every child to reach their full potential.
